I haven’t really shared my reasons of disappeara nce on this blog yet. I’m still searching for the best ways of sharing that. If you follow me on instagram you may have an idea as to what I’m referring to. Life took a tremendous turn on me, an uncalled, unplanned and fatal turn. A complete 360.

Though this is an effortless tattoo it is perhaps the most meaningful one to date. The newest edition to my ink family. An arrow that has been stripped down to the simplest form. I chose to share this on my illustration blog not for its visual graphic, not because I drew it but mostly because of the content. A topic that has become close and dear to my heart. A topic that I am struggling with daily. Waking up every morning and dealing with depression, as a result of this 360 turn.

I needed a daily reminder. Something to let me know that shit will get better. That this loop hole is temporary. And that one day, somehow, I will be going only up from here.

Lately I’ve been thinking a lot about DIY projects to keep me inspired. I had came across Bonjour Johana’s blog couple years ago and I remember she blogged about these plant pots that she painted. It’s such a fun project and a great idea to bring some life into your space. I’m thinking to recreate some of my own plant pots and make some tissue paper plants for them.
